  10. I just gave a little shriek of joy to see the 'Granny Chic' book by the bed as I too have purchased this book and love it. I have already managed to make the tea towel apron and wear it all the time now!

I have just stumbled across from Shortbread & Ginger and I am now your newest follower :)

  14. Yes--we are trying to finish up our holiday goodies and make way for the New Year's good luck foods. I love the dog walker tree. What is it about these kinds of trees that makes me think of dressed up old ladies? Something about the tinsel, I think.

  15. Hi Heather, love this post-Christmas relaxation time, with special foodie treats left over and long, lazy days of reading, crafting, movie watching.
The dog tree is sensational, I think because it is so isolated and unexpected. Wishing you a wonderful year in 2013, bloggy friend.

  16. Happy new year to you Heather. I am enjoying a nip of port while deciding if I want to stay up to the magic hour, or be sensible and take my cold to bed.
